“Catch me, Dad!”
Being chased by Dad is the best activity to do for any boy. For William and Henry, this was no exception.
A Christmas holiday visit for the Proud family from the North West Kimberley town of Fitzroy Crossing. Mum, Elyce asked if I could photograph their family whilst they were in Perth.
They wanted trees and a natural environment as the back drop for the images. We choose a beautiful spot at one of Perth’s parks, which allowed the boys to run and explore. Bare feet was the attire of the day, this is the norm living in the red dirt of the Kimberley.
This family photo session was the middle of Summer and the end of a hot day. The coolness of the trees were perfect in providing a shady spot away from the heat of the sun.
My sessions are lots of fun, lots of play, with bubbles, games and plenty of cuddles. This photo shoot had all of those features and more. William and Henry were an absolute delight and I can see they will become the best of friends.
Thank you Elyce and Elliot for allowing me to take your beautiful family photos, you were so much fun. I hope that the beautiful memories that we created are cherished for years to come.
When Dad walks away saying he had the “best fun” - I know I have done my job.
