What to buy for your new baby
WHAT PRAM TO BUY
The “UPPA BABY VISTA PRAM” buying your first pram is both exciting and daunting in making that final decision. I wanted it to be practical and stylish, this pram ticked all the boxes. I loved that it could convert to a double pram with ease for later down the track for baby number 2. It is smooth to push, especially over the uneven ground and also easy to dismantle to put into the car. The storage basket is both huge and sturdy, holding a multiple of items that seem to come along with a day out with a baby. The pram comes in a few colours, my choice was “Emmett” a little different from the usual black or stainless steel. With telescopic handles, wrapped in full grain leather, allows the pram to be pushed by even the tallest of Dads. Folds easy, stores easy. The carrycot allowed overnight stays to be made simple, when baby was so small, with the need of a crib or carrycot.
THE HIGH CHAIR
The “TRIP TRAP HIGHCHAIR” another big purchase item, in which i was on the fence in making a decision about for sometime. I am very glad on the purchase. Supper easy to clean, fits easily under the dining room table, which allows us all to sit around the table during meal times. The highchair will grow with the baby through to toddler and beyond into school age, with an easy conversion system, whilst providing comfort and ergonomics from birth.
NAPPIES
If getting away from disposable nappies are something you have been thinking about, then give it a go with “DESIGNER BUMS” cloth nappies. I love them! Easy to use, cute prints with matching bags, smocks and play mats. With 2 million nappies going into landfill each year, these nappies will last the distance through your little family, but will give you the pat on the back for looking after the environment.
WHITE NOISE MACHINE
The “MY BABY BY HOMEDICS - SOUND SPA” is used a multiple times a day, every day! A portable machine, with batteries as well as mains connection. The sound is looped through, so no stopping and starting, which I perfect to not having to disturb baby to start it back up. An reasonable priced white noise machine.
BIBS
How to avoid the meal time mess. You can’t go past the “CATCH BIBS” Silicon catch bibs are the best. Super easy to clean, catches all the food droppings that baby doesn’t quite get in their mouth. Easy for storage and to pop into a nappy bag for on the on the go.
BOTTLES
The “MEDALA CALMA BOTTLE” easy to use and perfectly designed for breastfeeding mums to mix feed or express.
